A word from my teachers

“Every yoga pose is bad for somebody. Everyone’s anatomy and history are unique, and this means that each pose affects each person differently. Usually the difference is trivial, but it can sometimes be significant and harmful. Do not become fixated on “mastering a pose.” The poses are meant to be therapeutic, not to challenge your pride. Some poses may be uncomfortable but result in a healthy response, but other poses might just be bad for you.” ~ Paul Grilley

“The practice of yin/yang yoga helps us learn about stillness in movement and the flow in stillness.” ~ Sarah Powers

Charity Work

Since 2015 I have sponsored three young nuns at Dongyu Gatsal Ling Nunnery in Himachal Pradesh, India. The nunnery is run by Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo. Their names are Jigme Dayod, Llachey Wangmo and Jangchup Sangmo. We correspond regularly and I would love to visit one day.
Gillian also volunteers at local schools offering teachings to students and teachers enabling them to gain knowledge of breath work and yoga asana.
